Eleanor Minney

In 2010 Eleanor gained a First Class Honours degree in Vocal Studies from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music, London. Upon graduating was also recipient of the Wilfred Greenhouse Allt college prize for Cantata and Oratorio for her performance in JS Bach's “St John Passion”.
Recent solo engagements include Bach’s “St Matthew Passion”, “B Minor Mass”, “Magnificat” and “Cantata 198: Trauer-Ode” with Sir John Eliot Gardiner and the English Baroque Soloists, Bach’s “St Matthew Passion” and Monteverdi’s “Vespers” with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Schumann’s “Das Paradies und die Peri” with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, and Handel's “Messiah” with the Mormon Metropolitan Tabernacle Choir in Salt Lake City, UT.
Operatic roles include Ninfa/Proserpina (Monteverdi “L'Orfeo”), Ruggiero (Handel “Alcina”), Cherubino (Mozart “Marriage of Figaro”), Fanny Price (Dove “Mansfield Park”), Mercedes (Bizet “Carmen”), Claretta (Leoncavallo “Zaza”), and Sukanya's Friend (Shankar “Sukanya”) for Royal Opera.

Eleanor is currently a young artist and resident recitalist for the Handel House Museum.
