Marta Fumagalli

Marta Fumagalli graduated with honours in modern literature, in February 2009 achieved the diploma at Conservatorio di Musica “Giuseppe Verdi” in Como, with the supervision of soprano Cristina Rubin. Currently, she studies with the countertenor Roberto Balconi.

She collaborates with Baroque music ensembles (Le Concert des Nations, Cappella Neapolitana, Ghislieri Choir & Consort, Coro RSI, I Barocchisti, Les Musiciens du Louvre, Il canto di Orfeo, La Verdi Barocca, Atalanta Fugiens, Cantar Lontano, La Venexiana, La Divina Armonia, Dolce & Tempesta) and she performs in Italy and abroad (Ravenna Festival, Barockfestival St. Pölten, Teatro Regio di Torino, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Valletta International Baroque Festival, I Concerti del Quirinale, Festival Milano Musica, Sicut Sagittae, Auditorium Orchestre National de Lyon, Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona, Arsenal Metz, deSingel Antwerp, Festival des Abbayes en Lorraine, Festival de Música Barocca in Bolivia, Philharmonie de Paris, Pavia Barocca, BOZAR, Ambronay Festival, Festival Pergolesi Spontini, Festival de La Chaise-Dieu, Festival Baroque du Pays du Mont Blanc, Internationale Händel-Festspiele Göttingen, Oh! In June 2018, with Ghislieri Choir & Consort conducted by Giulio Prandi, she won the Diapason d’Or award for the recording of Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s “Mass in D major” made for the Arcana/Outhere Music label.
