A harmonious synthesis of the arts – painting and music. The event is an opportunity to experience being immersed in the ambience of the place, complemented by the combination of tangible and intangible works of art, created by master painters and composers. This unique and unforgettable combination enables unique interactions between the paintings and the melodies, which accompanied their creation.

Painter’s Ear at the the Czartoryski Museum

The event at the Czartoryski Museum will be an opportunity to discover masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci and Rembrandt, while exploring a truly intimate relationship with the music the painters could have listened to while creating their outstanding works. The accompanying meeting with a historian will help broaden the understanding of the historical and artistic context, taking the participants on a journey back in time to 1488 Milan and 1638 Amsterdam. This encounter with image and sound reveals the previously invisible aspects of the creative process of the great masters.
