Aleksandra Pirogowicz

She graduated from the class of Professor Barbara Niewiadomska at the Voice and Drama Faculty of the Academy of Music in Kraków. She has attended many vocal courses conducted, among others, by Professor Christian Elsner, Professor Ryszard Karczykowski, Professor Jerzy Artysz, Professor Urszula Trawińska-Moroz, Professor Lioba Brown, Professor Elisabeth von Magnus and Professor Janusz Niziołek.

For 13 years, she has been permanently engaged in the activity of the Polish Radio Choir, and she collaborates with other Kraków ensembles. She has taken part in many cultural events in Poland and abroad, such as the Sacrum Profanum Festival, the Misteria Paschalia Festival, the Festival of Polish Music in Kraków, the Kraków Film Music Festival, the Cracovia Sacra Night, the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival, the Warsaw Autumn Festival, the Gaude Mater International Sacred Music Festival, Shakespeare Festivals in Gdańsk, Yerevan and Bitola, the Edinburgh International Festival, and the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival. 

Apart from her concert activity, she makes recordings for the Polish Radio and Television and for Polish and foreign record labels.
