Renaud Brès
Bass-baritone Renaud Brès began his musical training with percussion, then studied at the Centre de musique baroque de Versailles, where he also benefited from the teachings of Elène Golgevit, Mireille Alcantara, Lionel Sarrasin, Marian Sarkissian, and Thomas Dolié.
He is regularly sought after as a soloist in his collaborations with Ensemble Correspondances (kierownictwo artystyczne: Sebastien Daucé), Ensemble Pygmalion (Raphaël Pichon), Les Cris de Paris (Geoffroy Jourdain), L’Escadron Volant de la Reine (Antoine Touche), La Guilde des Mercenaires (Adrien Mabire), La Rêveuse (Benjamin Perrot and Florence Bolton), Clément Janequin Ensemble (Dominique Visse), Il Capriccio Stravagante (Skip Sempé), Le Banquet Céleste (Damien Guillon), Les Épopées (Stéphane Fuget), Sarbacanes (Neven Lesage), and Beatus (Jean-Paul Rigaud).
Renaud Brès loves to champion music in all its varied forms. His repertoire ranges from medieval to contemporary, with baroque music and modern compositions holding a special place in his musical life.
As conductor of the Cantabile Choir in his hometown of Pernes-les-Fontaines, Renaud Brès is keen to share his love and expertise in classical music.
He also forms a French mélodie and Lieder duo with Armelle Marq.
