The opening of the String Days! exhibition will inaugurate the third edition of our event devoted to historical instruments. This year, it focuses on string instruments and the many centuries of their tradition.

The opening will be hosted by Professor Teresa Piech, the curator of the exhibition, who will introduce its concept, outline its historical context, and discuss contemporary practices related to performance of instruments used in bygone eras. The exhibition will be presented in the historic interiors of the Potocki Palace that will provide a natural backdrop for the narrative on sound, craft, and tradition. The opening will be a perfect opportunity to take a closer look at the exhibition, engage in conversations, and enter the world of the String Days! together.
