She studied singing at the University of Cuyo, with Silvia Nasiff and Maria Teresa D'Amico, and then went on to perfect her skills at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Rosa Dominguez. Over the years, the singer has established herself as a leading interpreter of the Baroque repertoire, taking part in operatic productions in venues such as the Paris Opera, the Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Opéra Comique (Paris) or the Opera of Dijon, the Festival of Aix-en-Provence, the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires.
She works regularly under the direction of Leonardo García Alarcón and has also collaborated with Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Christina Pluhar, Vincent Dumestre, Teodor Currentzis and Gabriel Garrido among others. She has performed in the most important festivals in Europe and has sung on all continents.Throughout Australia with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra. Throughout Asia, Europe and South America with, among others, one of the 50 performances of Cappella Mediterranea’s Diluvio Universale by Falvetti. In the United States, she accompanied John Eliot Gardiner with his Orfeo/Vespers tour in 2016. Gardiner, with whom she will reunite in this year 2020 for a Monteverdi Secular&Sacred programme in a European tour. In 2018-2019, she was heard in Draghi’s El Prometeo, alongside Leonardo García Alarcón’s Cappella Mediterranea, and in La finta pazza by Sacrati at the Dijon Opera, then in Brussels, Geneva and Versailles. She took part in the recording of Arcadelt’s madrigals alongside Cappella Mediterranea (Ricercar, 2018). Her latest recording, Dowland: Whose Heavenly Touch, made with lutenist Hopkinson Smith, was released at the end of 2019 by Naïve. At the beginning of 2020, between two tour dates, she recorded Monteverdi’sL’Orfeo conducted by Leonardo García Alarcón. She gives many recitals including the programme Le Donne di Cavalli in Porrentruy and at the Sablé and Pontoise festivals, a great solo recital “carte blanche” at the Ambronay Festival before Bach’s Magnificat in Dijon and Versailles and Dido and Aeneas at the Gulbenkian in Lisbon. She will appear in Luigi Rossi’s Il Pallazzo Incantato at the Dijon Opera in its world premiere, then in 2021 in Vivaldi’s Vespro on tour in Belgium and France, before returning to the title role in La Finta Pazza by Sacrati in Dortmund and Versailles and a Piazzolla concert at Radio France. She has just recorded, together with the soprano Julie Roset, a CD dedicated to the music of Sigismondo d’India.
